Citroën traction 15CV - Burago 1/24 Barnfind!

another one of my projects was this Citroën Traction 15CV. I got it from my grandmother the day after I started working on the Citroën HY weathering project. it was missing it's 2 headlights and had lost some paint. 

As I allready have this model, I decided to use it as a test. each time I wanted to do something with the HY, I tried it on the traction first. This way I could do it better/more efficiently on the HY. for example I sorted out how to make realistic looking rust on this model before applying it on the van. 

over all this model looks great too and has become a nice and creative addition to my collection. as it's approximately the same scale as the HY, they both go well in the same display.

Citroën traction avant... by burago

This Citroën Traction avant is a 1/24 model from burago. it's not my favorite scale to collect (because it's in between 1/43 and 1/18), nevertheless is it a very impresive model. To see one drive around in 1:1 always puts a smile on my face... real classy classic!

Citroën traction "radio Monte Carlo"

I got this Citroën Traction from my auntie, it says radio monte carlo, it's one of the cars that drove around during the tour de france entertaining the crowd with it's music. there is a speaker on the roof. 

my model is not mint, it has some bruises, but I got it for free so I don't care. I think it looks great!

Traction from Elicar

This Citroën traction scaled down to 1/20 is a creation of Elicar. It's a very basic model in a rare scale, but it has it's charm.

Citroën traction 11 Légere FFI

This an Altaya Citroën traction 11 Légere. Note the FFI on the sides etc. it stands for "French Forces of the Interior. These where French resistance fighters in the late second world war. Pretty cool model, packed wxith details likr the windscreen wipers, the headlights and the grill. I came with a magazine called "la saga des Tractions"

Citroën Tractions ages d'or

A year ago I bought this Solido ages d'or Box from a Traction addict. He had a huge collection and was getting rid of these due to the lack of space. It are 4 Citroën Tractions scaled 1/43 in 4 different colors. 

A black one

 a bleu one

 a grey one

 and finally a white one

 appart from the color they are identically.

golden traction avant

Yesterdag I also got this one, it's a golden traction from hobbycar for the 50th birthday of the tracion avant!
