Citroën DS19 cabrio - Welly 1/32

This is one of the 1/32 Citroën DS's I brought home from my vacation in France. taking miniatures back from foreign countries is a great way to remember those vacations.

This one is the Citroën DS 19 cabrio, I didn't try out if the roof could get removed yet but I suppose it can.

Citroën traction 15CV - Burago 1/24 Barnfind!

another one of my projects was this Citroën Traction 15CV. I got it from my grandmother the day after I started working on the Citroën HY weathering project. it was missing it's 2 headlights and had lost some paint. 

As I allready have this model, I decided to use it as a test. each time I wanted to do something with the HY, I tried it on the traction first. This way I could do it better/more efficiently on the HY. for example I sorted out how to make realistic looking rust on this model before applying it on the van. 

over all this model looks great too and has become a nice and creative addition to my collection. as it's approximately the same scale as the HY, they both go well in the same display.

Citroën C4 picasso by cararama 1/24

I have been looking for this Citroën C4 picasso for ages. I first saw him on a webpage of Citroën diecast collectors, I had to have him. I contacted my Scalemodel dealer right away, but he told me this model was taken out of production. I bumped on this one by accident a week ago in a local Carrefour, my day couldn't get better!

it's a 1/24 model made by cararama. the largest model of this C4 picasso at the moment.

It is not a masterpiece however, the paintjob is horrible and the interior is badly detailed, but I couldn't resist! great model!

Citroën C35 - Solido 1/50

A model I didn't have untill some days ago was this Citroën C35, it was in it's days a very popular utility vehicle, a great workhorse. nowadays they are almost extinct. This model is one from Solido in scale 1/50, I think it's great seen it's age but it has some bruises. there is a decal on the side, but it's to far gone to know what it is.

Citroën traction avant... by burago

This Citroën Traction avant is a 1/24 model from burago. it's not my favorite scale to collect (because it's in between 1/43 and 1/18), nevertheless is it a very impresive model. To see one drive around in 1:1 always puts a smile on my face... real classy classic!

Citroën U23

Last but not least hand made model is this Citroën U23 camion citerne. It's made out of a can of Total insecticide and a Coca Cola light can. I immediately fell in love with this one as I had never before seen a Hand made model like this. What do you think?

Citroën HY made in Malaysia

I bought this hand made Citroën HY in France. it's a model made from soda cans, approximately 1/21 scale. The door on the side slides open and the back door folds open. pretty much for a hand build model!

Disney Cars 2 RAOUL CAROULE Diecast Car #9 of 15

Time for some new Blog feed! I'll kick of with this special Citroën, It's one of the characters in the movie "CARS 2" from Disney pixar. It is called Raoul Caroule (Caroule from the french 'ça roule', meaning it rides) In the movie it looked like a Citroën C4 too me, so I started my quest. I finally found this one. 

The model is made by Mattel, scaled 1/55 and looks pretty cool too me.

 Raule Caroule is the multi world champion from the GRC (Global Rally Championship) it drove with number 6

Citroën C4 hot wheels stunt team!

Check out this Citroën C4 wrc I bought the other day. I saw it on a website and started looking for it in a "Blokker" not far from where I live. It's packed with decals saying Hot Wheels Stunt Team. It's smaller than a normal hot wheels though.

Burago Citroën DS 19 1/32

I got this Citroën DS 19 from burago from my "brother-in-law" as a 2-months-early birthday gift. I'm very happy with it, it's scaled 1/32 which i think is a nice scale. it's a basic model like we are used from burago (no mirrors etc.) but it illustrates the DS 19 very well. The DS was once an car for the rich, I think it looks great in it's solid box.

Traction from Elicar

This Citroën traction scaled down to 1/20 is a creation of Elicar. It's a very basic model in a rare scale, but it has it's charm.

Chinese friction DS 19 break

Anyone ever saw one of these? it's a tin Citroën DS 19 break with roofrack and steeringwheel. it's a friction model and it has chinese symbols on the box. The front in nice, the back not so much.
