Fully chromed DS 19 with red interior - Base Solido 1/18

Another one of my projects. I bought 4 Solido DS's.. I'm making something special from every one of them. After the DS sur Ballons, now a fully chromed with red interior one. hope you like it!

 

  

 

 

As you can see it's not perfect, but I'm learning with every model!

Citroën DS sur ballons

It has been a while since I last updated my blog, the reason is that I was working on a project. Just finished it after several attempts... You can judge the result by yourself, let me know what you think!

It's a 1/18th scale Citroën DS sur ballons. This is a replica of the car used to promote the Hydroactive suspension on the DS: It's like gliding, you won't feel the road.

I have seen other 1/18 DS sur Ballons, but mostly they had another paint-job and filled in the wheel arches. This one should be pretty accurate.

Citroën DS19 "blake and mortimer" - Eligor 1/43

In hachette's new collection they take a closer look at the vehicles used in the "Blake and Mortimer" comics.

the 5th issue is about a brown Citroën DS19 that can be found in "l'affaire du collier"

the miniature itself is made by Eligor, hope you like it!

Citroën DS19 cabrio - Welly 1/32

This is one of the 1/32 Citroën DS's I brought home from my vacation in France. taking miniatures back from foreign countries is a great way to remember those vacations.

This one is the Citroën DS 19 cabrio, I didn't try out if the roof could get removed yet but I suppose it can.

ds 19 break

This Citroën DS 19 is one of my mystery cars. it's badly finished and has a hole in it's roof.

the only thing I know about it is that it's a 1/87 Eko model from the ds 19 break

Some Time ago I showed the same car, but in beige. This one is straight out of the box, not wheatered like the other one. green with a white roof, great model!

Citroën DS19 break - NOREV 1/43

Another Citroën miniature I picked up is this Citroën DS19 break, I have no idea what it should represent with it's orange light and the strange sign on the sides, but it is a wonderful model. on the back there is radio-tele luxembourg. the car of a news reporter maybe? The trunk pops open and the details are great. what do you think?

Citroën DS21 the magic round-a-bout

This is one of my new toys, I think it's brilliant. It's a Citroën DS21 pick-up with the characters from the magic round-a-bout. The magic round-a-bout was a television programm for kids on BBC. it got on air for the first time in 1963 and had 450 episodes overtime. The scaledmodel is a 1971 Corgi toy scaled 1/43.

Citroën DS 19 Norev 3inch

I recently bought a lot of 3 Citroëns, got this one for 1 euro extra, it lost more paint than I thought (luckily I have the same in mint condition) 

It's once again a NOREV 3inch model and it looks great, The 3inch line of Norev still has not deceived!

Because you liked the previous hand made model, I present you the DS 19 I bought the same day. it's made of an insecticide can.

The front looks great and the side looks decent, but the back is not great. nevertheless a superb model.

Burago Citroën DS 19 1/32

I got this Citroën DS 19 from burago from my "brother-in-law" as a 2-months-early birthday gift. I'm very happy with it, it's scaled 1/32 which i think is a nice scale. it's a basic model like we are used from burago (no mirrors etc.) but it illustrates the DS 19 very well. The DS was once an car for the rich, I think it looks great in it's solid box.

Playart Citroën DS 19 "le dandy"

When I came home from Groezrock a very pleasant was waiting for me. Last week I bought this Citroën DS 19 Henry Chapron "le dandy" from playart. 

 It's a very rare and poorly documented model. I had never heard of it so I googled it to find more information about it's value, turned out only 2 websites mentioned this model from playart. 

 I had to grab this occasion. Mine is the purple version in near mint condition. It has been sold in other colors like: bleu, grey, yellow, lemon, green and red.

I am very happy with this one, because it's in excellent condition (I thought it would be very playworn). It is a nice asset to my Citroën collection.

Citroën ds ambulance

This is one of my ancient toys, It's a majorette Citroën ds 21 ambulance (No 206), or at least it was. I think I have this one for 15 years and it wasn't handled carefully during that time. the door broke of, the lights and the flags disappeared and it was paited with correction fluid and black marker. Can't trow it away though.

 Some months ago I found this one for auction, It's almost the same car (the windows and lights have different colors) and it's in relatively good condition. They now stand together in my showcase.

Tomte plast DS 19 cabrio

I went to a flea market this week, I was surprised when I saw a woman who sold 6 Tomte's. I've been looking for this model for some time and this one is in excellent condition, just a little bit dirty. I got it for a bargain, regretting not buying the other ones.
