Citroen Xsara WRC #4 Monte Carlo Rally diorama set with tent 1:43 Ixo Altaya

This is the newest addition for my collection. A nice diorama stand of the Citroën Xsara WRC.

The car is pretty nice with special addition to the details. the windscreen wipers eg. are nicely detailed and the disk breaks have been worked out. It is not possible to put the wheels on the car (I think) but the market is saturated with normal Xsara WRC's.

the tent is from hard plastic and the poles from metal. I have no idea what the ground plate is made from, but there is some weight to it which complements the nice quality of the piece.

the figures are made from metal and had a very nice paint job. overal this diorma is great value for money and it will be an Eye-catcher in your showcase.

detailed scalemodel by altaya, I think altaya does a great job with their Citroën miniatures, the antenna for example is very delicate.

Citroën Xsara WRC Vitesse (catalunya 1998)

I bought this Citroën Xsara WRC on kapaza.be yesterday. It's one from Vitesse, that's the only reason I bought it. as yyou can see it's in pretty bad shape. the number on both sides is cut in half and other stickers are starting to come off. It came with it's original  box so I could let it for 5 euro's (1/12 the price if it was mint and boxed). it needs some love/work, but it's beautifull

When I came home with my purchase I was pretty optimistic.,Vitesse is a high quality brand. As it's already in weatered condition I decided to open it up. the damage at the inside is huge. seats come off, number plate, spoiler fell of, rollcage is broken... more work as I though

BUT the details are great! although the model is sealed, the interior is packed with details.

I started with rubbing away the rest of the number, I don't think I will put one back on. Next I have to put all the pieces back on and paint the top white.

Citroën Xsara Rally de Cantabria

I already made the June's video. Half month early, but I have my examns coming up so... It is about the Citroën Xsara rally de cantabria 2006. This model was made by SunStar. Sunstar can becompared with Solido, but with slightly better details.

Citroën Xsara monte carlo 2006

The Citroën Xsara proved a great car for rally. this model was used during the Rally de Monte carlo in 2006. Majorette did a nice job stickering this 1/66 model. it looks great

Bought this one a while ago in Ostend. I drive a Citroën xsara phase 1 myself so this one could not be missing in my collection. It is the Vts edition and looks exactly like the real one, love it! It's Norev 1/43 btw.

Went to a flea market today, found this awesome Citroën Xsara rally de Monte Carlo night/snow edition mint in box for 10 euro's. How nice is that? It's a model made by solido.

Citroën Xsara WRC Nico RC

I promised an RC car to my (little) brother in law to play inside. I went to the attic to look for this one, my Citroën Xsara WRC. I played hours or better days with this and I'm happy it has a new owner that'll love it as much as I did.

Citroën Xsara rally de catalunya

I finally bought this Citroën Xsara rally edition from sunstar. it's sordo's car during the rally de Catalunya. They fnished 2nd with this one. I wanted this one because of the paintjob. I think it's pretty neat.

Xsara dongfeng

This is the car I drive, if you collect scale models you surely need to have your own car! But all the Citroën Xsara's I found where Rally edition but I wanted a normal model. A man whom I bought several cars from, told me he had this one. It costed me a fortune, but they are made by dongfeng in China and they are very rare in Europe and the rest of the world. I never saw another one for sale, so I had to grab this occasion. 

Like all Dongfeng cars the detailing is unbelievable. Every single detail is worked out perfectly. The cars have seatbelts, everything moves and they look terrific. the downfall of this brand is the paintjob, it's very rough and could even contain irregularities.

nevertheless I'm very proud to have it!
